Alrighty then. Surely I am not too stupid to learn a new blog interface. I’ve been with Blogger for … counts on fingers … a long time and, even with all the glitches and blinks, what you already know is comforting. But Haven assures me that Wordpress is going to be great.

 These first few posts are doubtless going to be pointless and exploratory as I find my way around, so please bear with me. Also, pony up with the links, people. We’re importing my old blogroll, but it needs updating badly. Also, it may end up on the links page instead of on the sidebar. Still debating that. I don’t like messy sidebars, so Haven’s trying to soothe my delicate sensibilities. And doing a bang-up job, I might add.

Actually, I’m discovering that I quite like this format. Oooh, I just discovered I can do those split posts with the “read more” thingy. That’s cool! Yeah, I’m easily amused. Let’s see if it works.

Oooooh, looky! I can do category tags, too! Now, actually, we do this on the Beyond the Veil blog and I had only recently figured it out on my old blog. Hopefully, I can get into the habit of tagging each post. What does this fall under? Pointless nonsense, I think. Yeah, that’s a good category. Should fill up quickly.
