Monday Mythology at RITBS

I’m the Monday Mythology blog today at Romance In The Backseat!

I’m talking about mythology and folklore from Brittany in the north of France and the stories I used as the basis for my Carolina Wolf series.

A little self-absorbed

I promise this is the last “I got a job” blog you’ll see. :) But I had to talk about something today at Beyond the Veil, and since it’s the subject uppermost in my mind at the moment, there you go.

Back to Work.

My first day of work

I’m wavering between “I have this totally under control” and “WTF was I thinking?!”

I have clothes to wear. Nice, non-mom clothes that fit. I had to go to Kohl’s, and of course I didn’t go on a sale day armed with all my coupons, but the damage was minimal.

Dinner is ready. I roasted two chickens yesterday morning before it got hot. One for eating last night and tonight, and I picked the other one and froze it for later use in mac and cheese, or chilaquiles, or stir fry.

I made my lunch and I’m drinking my coffee. I know I’m missing something.

I wrote two articles last night and I’m tackling my crit this morning. I’m blogging at Beyond the Veil tomorrow, though, and have no clue what to talk about. But that’s tomorrow’s trouble. I have enough for today.

While I was writing this post, Terry from Romance in the Backseat let me know that she’s posted my piece about Medieval Werewolves at the Backseat Nightmares blog.

Where have all the punks gone?

We had an interesting discussion about Cyberpunk and Steampunk at Romance Divas recently, so I decided to blog about both of them today over at Beyond the Veil.

Enjoy!

Serenity Now!

I’m over at Beyond the Veil today wondering where they keep the serenity and when are they gonna crack open the can?

New Years Resolution: Eat Drink and Be Merry

I’m at the Samhain Blog again today talking about my New Years Resolutions.

A Year in Review: Success

I’m at the Samhain Blog today discussing how to define success, how my year has gone, and my plans for 2010.

How does it happen…

That when I Blog Elsewhere, I do it in a big way?

On Friday, I’ll be blogging at Beyond the Veil , then Sunday I’ll be at the Samhain blog. Naturally, I’ll be out of town on Sunday. And I’m going to make an effort not to just repeat the same post. Heck, I might even post here, too. Although, to be honest, it’ll probably be one of my ‘Hey, I’m blogging elsewhere’ things.

I’ve been blogging about different mythologies on BTV since it started, but I’ve kind of gotten away from that. Maybe I should start again?

And the last time I blogged at Samhain, I wrote a flash fiction fairy tale because it was easier than trying to write a ‘real’ post. I don’t think anyone bothered to read it. 2 comments, and 1 was from me. *sigh* Still, I kind of like that little story, even though I’d tighten it up a little more now.

So I have 3 days to think of something. Two somethings, really, since we’ll be in Indy over the weekend, so I need to get the Samhain one done before we leave.

Anyone got any ideas? One mythology-based and one anything.

The Second Time Around

I’m blogging at Beyond the Veil today about writing a series, er, sequel, er, second story in same setting. Whatever.

Bestiary 201: Composite Beasts

Today’s lesson is on beasts made up from the leftovers of Creation — all at Beyond the Veil!
